COMMUNITY UPDATE: Meet Gaechka, aka Red, Proxima Centauri Colonist
Introducing Gaechka, aka Red, she is a human from a future we can recognize, where humanity has begun to reach towards exoplanets.
NOT: This character’s name has been updated thanks to an RCM community feedback on March 29th, 2023.
Two weeks, two characters? Sweet! If you haven’t had a chance, check out the #multiverse-characters and #character-forum channels on our public Discord. This is where you (those safely on Earth) can ask us (those trying to find Proxima Centauri) questions about the characters directly, or just talk about the ones you like.
Loud and in a rush, we present Gaechka (aka Red)!
Gaechka, a Russian name that rhymes with fire, which is Red through and through. She’s the beleaguered chief engineer for a lost colony ship, where everyone’s survival depends on her keeping things up and running. Unsurprisingly, this job involves a lot of yelling, especially when she has to bark out orders to a bay of bustling technicians in an emergency.
Unlike some of our other characters, Gaechka, is easily relatable. She’s a human from a future we can recognize, where humanity has begun to reach towards exoplanets to create new colonies on distant worlds. A mostly ordinary woman in extraordinary circumstances, Red has risen to the occasion in her efforts to not only keep her people alive and well, but to ultimately find their way to Proxima Centauri b. She continues a proud tradition of overworked starship engineers, who always manage to come through in a clutch.
As a collectible, Gaechka, is a Common character, which means she’ll be readily available in our initial supply and, like all characters, you can get her as a part of your Inception Package during the TAG’s LIMITED Inception Minting event on March 2nd where TAG is celebrating and welcoming Lulu. For details on this LIMITED Minting on March 2nd, head over to our website and register for the RCM Allowlist: https://www.redcatmultiverse.io/inceptionnft
