Qalmie is an environmental activist, which is something we can relate to in our world. Climate change is quite a hot button topic, especially when many people can’t see the big picture of our impact on our planet. That’s something which Qalmie faces, a community still as of yet unwilling to accept they face the early stages of a global chill which has the potential to be devastating. Her adventure is just beginning.

We’ve had fun with the idea of sentient harp seals living in a technologically advanced society, as part of our group of characters which explore alternate possible evolutions of humans. Of all of them, Qalmie is definitely the cutest, even though she’s a serious character on a serious mission. I’m excited to see what she’s going to look like in-game!
